4 Looks Based on Your Valentine’s Day Mood

February can mean many things, but let’s be real–this month’s highlight is definitely Valentine’s Day.

Whatever your plans for this holiday may look like, I wanted to share 4 different looks for 4 different Valentine’s moods.

Outfit #1: Traditional Red (with a twist!)

Top: Ross [similar] | Dress: H&M [similar] | Shoes: ShoeDazzle [similar]

When I was younger, the only colors I really wore were neutrals and the occasional shade of blue. However, in recent years, I’ve been loving red. Not only is it a bold color, but red makes you feel a different type of way–a good type of way.

I wanted to include a red look amongst my outfits because it’s an expected Valentine’s Day color. Plus, red will always be a look. However, to contrast the monochromatic dress and shoes, I added the black mesh top underneath for an added edge.

Outfit #2: All Black Everything

Jacket: Amazon [similar] | Dress: Forever21 [on sale right now!] | Shoes: ? [similar]

You can never go wrong with an all-black outfit. Granted, this isn’t very festive; but, who says you need to wear red? Or any color for that matter?

There are two variations of this look: one with a jacket and one without. The jacket, although you really can’t tell, is actually made from holographic material! It adds a little something-something and helps to elevate the one-tone look.

Outfit #3: Schoolgirl Vibes

Top: Thrifted [similar] Skirt: Thrifted [similar] | Shoes: Heels [similar] & Fila

This is probably my favorite skirt I own. Not only because I thrifted it, but because it fits every occasion. This option is for you if you’re not really into the whole super dressy thing, but still want to dress up a little.

My original vision for this look was paired with the sneakers, for that extra lowkey-ness, but the heels definitely step it up a notch.

Outfit #4: Casual, but Cute

Top: Forever21 [similar] | Jeans: Thrifted [similar] | Shoes: FIla

This is for the girls who would rather be more comfortable than anything, which is honestly me majority of the time. However, casual can still be cute. An ideal date for this look would be the movies!

If you wanted to make this look a little more dressy, consider substituting the sneakers for a pair of heels! But I feel like the sneakers definitely fit the vibe better, you know?

Anyway, I hope you all have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!
